Fireball Island - The Curse of Vul-Kar

Fireball Island - The Curse of Vul-Kar

Pull on your Akubra and grab your bullwhip everyone, it’s time for an adventure on the beautiful tropical location of Fireball Island. Marvel at its stunning vistas, its exotic snake population, beautiful big cats, carnivorous trees and warm, radiant lava flows. Bring your camera and soak in the many beautiful walking tracks that cross the island that definitely aren’t full of traps or dangers and gather up any treasure you happen upon.

Fireball Island is an exploration, set collection and marble based game for 2 – 4 players. It is a remake of a similarly named game from 1986 and still contains similar gameplay elements to the original, somewhat like mousetrap. You keep a hand of cards that lets you control how you move throughout the island and collect treasures as you go. Be careful though, as actual marbles litter the game board and could easily roll down the slopes and take out your character. The player who successfully collects the most treasures AND escapes on the helicopter to tell the tale will be crowned the winner.
